Imagine Powertree Private Limited is a climate-tech company specializing in innovative solar infrastructure such as Solar Trees, Rooftop Solar, Solar Gazebos and urban solar installations. We execute projects for government bodies, PSUs, smart cities and institutional clients across India.

We are looking for a technically robust and field-oriented Solar Site Engineer who can lead installation, supervision and quality of our solar projects at site, from material arrival to commissioning.

Role Summary The Solar Site Engineer will be responsible for executing solar installations as per drawings, specifications, quality standards and schedule. The role requires strong hands-on technical ability, site leadership, and willingness to travel and stay at project sites.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Installation Supervision

- Supervise installation of modules, structures, inverters and cabling
- Execute work as per approved drawings and specifications
- Plan daily site activities and manpower deployment
- Ensure work is completed within the project schedule

2. Quality Checks & Measurements

- Conduct quality checks at every stage of installation
- Take site measurements and verify alignment, levels and fixing
- Verify wiring, earthing, protections and system integration
- Close punch points before handover

3. Testing & Commissioning Support

- Support pre-commissioning tests and inspections
- Coordinate testing and synchronization with grid
- Ensure installation quality meets standards before handover to O&M;

4. Reporting & Documentation





- Prepare daily progress, material and site execution reports
- Maintain material receipt, usage and balance records
- Maintain site photos, checklists and handover documents
- Ensure compliance with CEI, DISCOM and safety requirements

5. Coordination

- Coordinate with vendors, contractors and labour teams
- Coordinate with the design and project team on drawings and changes
- Address client technical queries at site
- Attend site visits and review meetings

Required Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Renewable Energy, or Diploma in Electrical with solar experience
- 1 to 2 years of experience in solar installation or site execution
- Diploma holders must have hands-on solar project experience

Technical Knowledge Required

- Solar PV systems and components
- Module mounting structures and installation practices
- Inverters, ACDB/DCDB and cabling
- Drawing interpretation; AutoCAD is a plus
- Cable sizing, earthing and protection systems
- Net metering and grid synchronization
- Basic understanding of testing instruments (multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester etc.)

Required Skills

- Strong site supervision ability
- Ability to read and execute drawings

- Communication skills for client and team coordination

Compensation

- As per industry standards

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
