Job Details

Job Title: Software Testing Intern

Duration: 1 to 3 months

Stipend: INR 15,000 to INR 16,500 per month

Responsibilities

- Test websites, web applications and mobile apps manually to find bugs and usability issues
- Write clear test cases, test scenarios and test plans from the given requirements
- Run test cases, record the results and report defects with clear steps and screenshots
- Track bugs using tools such as Jira, Bugzilla or Trello until they are fixed and retested
- Perform regression, smoke, sanity and functional testing on new releases
- Help create basic automation test scripts using Selenium with guidance from the team
- Test APIs using Postman and check data using simple SQL queries
- Work with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of software testing concepts (SDLC, STLC, test cases,



bug life cycle)
- Understanding of manual testing types such as functional, regression, smoke and sanity testing
- Basic knowledge of Selenium or any test automation tool
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira or similar
- Good analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good written and spoken English communication

Positive to Have
- Knowledge of Postman, API testing and basic SQL
- Basic understanding of Java or Python for automation
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum and Git
- Any software testing course, certification (ISTQB) or project experience

Eligibility
- Students and recent graduates in B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc (Computer Science or IT), M.Sc or any related field
- Freshers interested in building a career in software testing and quality assurance
- Candidates with a laptop or computer and a stable internet connection
