We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer with at least 1 year of experience in software engineering and a strong foundation in programming, data structures, APIs, and SQL. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a software product-based company and be comfortable building scalable, reliable backend systems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs, data models, and core business logic.

- Build and manage background jobs, event consumers, and asynchronous workflows.

- Integrate third-party services, including banking systems, identity verification vendors, and payment providers.

- Debug production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

- Take ownership of features end-to-end, ensuring clean, maintainable, and reliable code.

- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Contribute to improving backend performance, reliability, and system design.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of experience in backend development or software engineering.





- Experience working in a software product-based company is mandatory.

- Candidates from consulting firms and IT services companies are not eligible.

- Strong programming fundamentals and proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language.

- Strong preference for Java/Kotlin with Spring Boot.

- Candidates with experience in Go, Python, Node.js, or C# will also be considered.

- Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, REST APIs, and SQL.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently on well-defined tasks with minimal supervision.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Solid engineering fundamentals and a focus on writing clean, reliable code.

- Experience developing backend services and integrating external APIs.

- Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver solutions independently.
