Job Desirables for Simulation Engineer PDPS

- Should be very well aware of VW standards in Process designer, Process Simulate.
- Complete Simulation Support for Robot Simulation activities using PDPS
- Process Planning Support and cycle time optimization activities
- Accommodation of recent products in Existing line
- Defining library structure, product structure and resource structure in process designer
- Defining PR-line / PR-station / process, part assignment, weld spot assignment in process designer
- Weld gun selection & creating sections, layout sections
- Layout creation and updating as per recent process
- Defining kinematics for weld gun / fixture / tooling etc.
- Upgrading / migrating work cell from Robcad to Process simulate
- Identifying and correcting bugs in robot simulation
- Cell building & validation for spot welding, hemming, sealing and other BIW applications
- Creating Offline program & downloading using VKRC4 / VKRC4 controller PSPD




- Robot Path optimization and collision free path creation
- Modification activities should be properly documented.
- Candidate should take responsibility of Product/Tooling Data security and should adhere to the guidelines of SAVWIPL IT policy.
- Maintaining of work log book & working time sheet.
- The engineers will be deputed as resident engineers and work in SAVWIPL with the systems and necessary software’s provided by SAVWIPL.

Qualification-

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering either from Mechanical / Production Engineering background with 6 to 8 years of professional experience in Robotic simulation - ROBCAD / PDPS
2. General understanding and familiarization of Automobile Industries and engineering services.
3. Knowledge of Process Planning and Robot programming will be an additional advantage
4. VW Di-kab standard will be added advantage
5. PC skills with high proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office products functionality.
