Job Summary

Ecopmin Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Assistant Service Engineer to handle installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SMT and electronics manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of Pick & Place machines, Screen Printers, Reflow ovens, SPI, and AOI systems, along with excellent customer support and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform installation, commissioning, setup, and maintenance of SMT equipment at customer locations.
- Handle preventive maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting of SMT machines.
- Provide technical support for Pick & Place, Screen Printer, Reflow, SPI, and AOI equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, mechanical, and automation-related issues.
- Support machine programming, calibration, parameter setting, and performance optimization.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to minimize machine downtime.
- Support new machine installations, production ramp-up, and equipment upgrades.
- Coordinate with customers to resolve technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.




- Manage spare parts requirements and provide machine-operation training to customers.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams to ensure timely service delivery.

Requirements

- Minimum 8 years of experience in SMT equipment service, maintenance, or a related technical role.
- Hands-on experience with Pick & Place, Screen Printer, Reflow, SPI, and AOI machines.
- Strong knowledge of machine installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and breakdown handling.
- Experience in troubleshooting, machine programming, calibration, and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and automation systems.
- Experience with Panasonic, Fuji, ASM, Hanwha, DEK, GKG, or similar SMT equipment is preferred.
- Strong customer-handling, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
