Job Summary

We are looking for a hardworking and responsible Bus Tinkering Assistant to support bus body repair and maintenance work for school buses, college buses, and privately operated buses. The candidate will assist experienced technicians with denting, body panel repair, metalwork, and general vehicle body maintenance to keep buses in safe and good condition.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist skilled technicians with bus body denting, straightening, and repair work.
- Support the repair and replacement of damaged bus body panels, doors, steps, and exterior parts.
- Assist with metal cutting, grinding, drilling, and fabrication under supervision.
- Prepare bus body surfaces for painting, including sanding and cleaning.
- Help repair minor body damage caused by scratches, dents, and accidents.
- Assist with repairing and maintaining school buses, college buses, and private passenger buses.
- Help inspect bus bodies to identify visible damage, rust, loose panels, and other defects.
- Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and materials in valuable condition.
- Follow workshop safety procedures while handling tools and machinery.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and arranging repair materials.




- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop.
- Report major damage or technical problems to the senior technician.

Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: 8th / 10th pass preferred.
- ITI or vocational training in automobile, mechanical, or fabrication work is an advantage.
- Previous experience in bus bodywork, vehicle denting, welding, or fabrication is preferred.
- Freshers with a willingness to learn may apply.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of vehicle body repair.
- Ability to assist with hand tools and workshop equipment.
- Physical fitness for workshop duties.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Teamwork, punctuality, and responsibility.
- Awareness of workplace safety.
