Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics / Computer Science / IT / Telecom or equivalent
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and implement server infrastructure solutions by selecting appropriate OS, virtualization platforms, and server configurations based on project requirements.
- Install, configure, and deploy physical and virtual servers.
- Configure and optimize servers for performance and security.
- Perform regular server maintenance, including monitoring server health and applying updates and patches.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization to maintain high reliability and server performance.
- Implement and enforce server security measures and industry best practices.
- Maintain compliance with relevant security standards, OEM recommendations, and applicable regulations.
- Monitor server capacity and usage trends.
- Develop and maintain server backup solutions and validate restore procedures.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Server Management / Server Administration.
- Strong knowledge of server hardware, Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware / Hyper-V.
- Valuable knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related server administration technologies.
- Experience with server monitoring tools, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of server security best practices.
- Knowledge of server backup and restore procedures.
- MCSE / MCSA or AZ-104 or equivalent industry certification is preferred/required.
