Role Description As a Senior Software Engineer and tech lead, you will design, develop, and maintain backend services and core platform components that power the GiftX ecosystem. You will lead technical architecture decisions, review code, mentor engineers, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance implementations for trading, deployment, and security solutions.

Day-to-day work includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating product requirements into technical designs, implementing clean, tested code,



and driving continuous improvement in reliability and performance. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. You will also help shape engineering best practices, contribute to roadmap planning, and support production incident resolution and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming, delivering production-grade applications.
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, and database integration.
- Solid understanding and practical use of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience leading technical projects or teams, with the ability to mentor and guide other engineers.
- Comfort working with distributed systems, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to financial technology, algorithmic trading, or cybersecurity domains is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Robust communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment based in Bengaluru.
