Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SSDE – AWS Cloud Engineer with hands-on expertise in AWS infrastructure, Terraform, automation, and CI/CD. The candidate will support the design, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of secure and scalable AWS environments while following established cloud and engineering best practices.

What You’ll Do

Implement and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure based on defined technical requirements and standards.

- Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Support automation of infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational activities.
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Monitor AWS environments and troubleshoot infrastructure, performance, and availability issues.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards using CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar tools.
- Support high availability, security, performance, and reliability requirements across AWS environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents, deployment issues, and technical dependencies.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, application, and other engineering teams to deliver cloud solutions.
- Follow AWS security, compliance, governance, and infrastructure standards.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and operational efficiency.
- Support cloud cost optimization and productive resource utilization.




- Maintain technical documentation and provide regular updates on assigned activities, risks, and dependencies.

Must-Have Skills

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and infrastructure.
- 3+ years of experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong understanding of AWS services, networking, security, high availability, and fault tolerance.
- Experience working with complex AWS environments and multiple cloud services.
- 2+ years of experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting using CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar tools.
- 2+ years of experience implementing or supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- 2+ years of containerization experience in EKS preferred.
- Hands-on experience with cloud automation and operational support.

Ansible

- AWS CloudFormation
- Docker / Kubernetes / EKS
- Python or Shell scripting
- AWS IAM, SSM, Lambda, EC2, S3, VPC, Route 53
- Experience with Git and Git-based workflows
- Exposure to AWS Control Tower and cloud governance

What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months) Independently manage assigned AWS infrastructure and Terraform activities with minimal supervision.

- Successfully support AWS deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
- Maintain reliable and secure cloud environments in accordance with defined standards.
- Effectively troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues within agreed timelines.




- Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and provide timely status updates.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration with application, DevOps, security, and platform teams.
