Role Description The Senior Service Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for providing advanced technical support and service for SEPL’s products and solutions. This position involves diagnosing and resolving complex field issues, coordinating remote troubleshooting with clients, and guiding on-site teams to ensure proper installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment. The role includes preparing service reports, documenting technical findings, and recommending improvements to product performance and reliability.

The Senior Service

Engineer will collaborate with internal engineering, sales,



and operations teams to address customer requirements, support after-sales service, and contribute to continuous improvement of service processes. Occasional travel to customer sites may be required to support critical interventions and training activities.

Qualifications

- Strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and system-related issues.
- Hands-on experience in Field Service, including coordination of remote support and on-site interventions.
- Maintenance & Repair capabilities for rotating equipment, bearings, shafts, sleeves, housings, and related components.
- Explicit and effective Communication skills for engaging with customers, preparing service documentation, and collaborating with internal teams.
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma (Mechanical or equivalent), with several years of service engineering experience in industrial or pump/hydro sectors.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple service requests, and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems, safety standards, and best practices in industrial maintenance and reliability.
- Proficiency with basic digital tools for reporting, remote diagnostics, and communication; experience with bearing technologies or fluid handling equipment is an advantage.
