Role Overview A technically proficient quality assurance professional responsible for designing and executing advanced testing strategies, building scalable automation frameworks, and ensuring software reliability across platforms. The Senior SQA Engineer collaborates closely with development teams, contributes to continuous integration efforts, and drives quality improvements through deep expertise in testing tools, coding, and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement robust test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend systems.
- Perform deep functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and quality in code.
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide detailed defect reports.




- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Validate data integrity through database testing using SQL/DB2.
- Participate in code reviews and provide QA feedback.
- Execute security and compatibility testing across platforms.
- Maintain test documentation and contribute to QA process improvements.

Qualifications

Skills and Competencies

- Languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML5, XML, SQL.
- API Testing: Postman, REST-assured, SoapUI.
- Performance Testing: JMeter, LoadRunner.
- Version Control: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket.
- Database: DB2, MySQL, Oracle - solid SQL query skills.
- Frameworks: TDD, BDD (Cucumber).
- Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, strong communication.
