Senior OMS Product Owner / Techno-Functional Lead

Flexteam360 is hiring for the Operations Product team of a leading German e-commerce company, Westwing (Westwing.com) , operating across 25+ European markets.

- Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise OMS platform, preferably Manhattan OMS / Active Omni, IBM Sterling OMS, and/or Fluent Commerce .
- 5+ years of relevant experience in enterprise OMS implementation, configuration, techno-functional consulting, application support, or product ownership.

You will work closely with the Director of Product, based in Germany, to own and improve the Order Management System (OMS) powering the company's international e-commerce operations. We are looking for an experienced OMS specialist with strong techno-functional expertise who understands enterprise order management platforms, can translate business requirements into functional solutions, and can drive system configuration, implementation, production stability, and continuous improvement.

You may currently be working as an OMS Product Manager, SME, Consultant, Technical Specialist, Functional Lead, Application Support Lead, or Techno-Functional Team Lead.

What you will do

- OMS ownership: Drive improvements to order orchestration, sourcing and allocation, inventory availability, fulfilment routing, split shipments, order consolidation, and returns.
- Configuration and functional design: Translate business requirements into functional specifications, configuration changes, and system enhancements.
- Production stability: Investigate stalled orders, fulfilment failures, inventory discrepancies, and integration issues.



Lead root cause analysis and ensure resolution within agreed SLAs.
- Monitoring and optimisation: Improve alerts, exception handling, and operational tools to identify and prevent recurring issues.
- Implementations and deployments: Coordinate configuration changes, releases, testing, UAT, go-lives, and post-deployment support with vendors and engineering teams.
- System integrations: Ensure reliable data flows between OMS, WMS, ERP, e-commerce platforms, and supplier systems.
- Business collaboration: Work with Logistics, Warehouse Operations, Sourcing, Engineering, and Product teams to identify operational challenges and deliver scalable solutions.
- Continuous improvement: Use operational data and automation opportunities to improve fulfilment performance and system reliability.

What we are looking for

Essential requirements

- Strong understanding of order lifecycle management, order orchestration, sourcing and allocation, fulfilment workflows, inventory availability, and exception handling.
- Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications, configurations, or system enhancements.
- Practical experience in production support, incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and SLA-driven environments.
- Experience coordinating with engineering teams, vendors, or implementation partners on fixes, enhancements, and deployments.
- Understanding of OMS integrations with WMS, ERP, e-commerce platforms, and supplier systems.




- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with excellent English proficiency.

Preferred experience

- Experience across multiple OMS platforms, particularly Manhattan, IBM Sterling, and Fluent Commerce.
- Hands-on DOM configuration, including allocation rules, sourcing logic, fulfilment nodes, routing rules, and service levels.
- OMS platform certifications.
- Experience in fashion, retail, e-commerce, or omnichannel fulfilment.
- Familiarity with APIs, SQL, databases, application logs, Jira, ServiceNow, or Postman.
- Experience leading teams, coordinating offshore-onshore delivery, and managing implementations or SaaS vendors.
