Job Title: MIS Executive

About the Role

Chai Govindam is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented MIS Executive to manage business reporting, sales data, inventory records, and outlet performance analysis. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate MIS reports, identifying discrepancies, monitoring key business metrics, and providing actionable insights to management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for all outlets.
- Track outlet-wise sales, product-wise sales, and sales targets.
- Reconcile POS sales with cash, UPI, card, and online delivery collections.
- Identify sales discrepancies and highlight unusual variations.
- Prepare sales performance dashboards for management.

2. Inventory & Stock Monitoring

- Maintain records of opening stock, purchases, consumption, and closing stock.
- Monitor inventory of tea, milk, sugar, snacks, packaging materials, and other raw materials.
- Identify stock shortages, excess consumption, wastage, and unexplained stock variances.
- Coordinate with outlet managers for accurate and timely stock reporting.

3. Outlet Performance Monitoring

- Prepare outlet-wise performance reports.
- Track sales, expenses, wastage, and other operational KPIs.
- Highlight underperforming outlets and operational discrepancies.
- Follow up with outlet managers to resolve reporting gaps.
- Assist management in monitoring outlet profitability.

4. Purchase & Expense Reporting

- Maintain purchase, vendor, and expense records.
- Verify purchase data and identify unusual price or quantity variations.
- Coordinate with the purchase and accounts teams for accurate reporting.

5. MIS Reports & Data Management

- Maintain accurate databases, spreadsheets,



and business records.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly management reports.
- Develop Excel dashboards and automated reporting formats.
- Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and timely submission of reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant MIS experience preferred.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF formulas, and PivotTables.
- Knowledge of Google Sheets and POS systems preferred.
- Experience in the restaurant, café, retail, FMCG, or food and beverage industry will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and maintain accuracy.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely submission of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Accuracy of sales and payment reconciliation.
- Timely identification of inventory discrepancies.
- Monitoring of wastage and abnormal stock consumption.
- Completeness of outlet reporting.
- Reduction in reporting errors and manual work.

Compensation & Benefits
- Fixed Monthly Salary: ₹30,000-35000
