Role Description The Senior Medical Transcriptionist is a full time, home based role based in Bengaluru. This position is responsible for accurately transcribing dictated medical reports, including patient histories, consultation notes, operative reports, discharge summaries, and other clinical documentation. The role involves reviewing and editing transcriptions for grammatical accuracy, medical consistency, and adherence to client-specific formatting and style guidelines.
The Senior Medical
Transcriptionist will maintain turnaround times, and ensure all documentation meets regulatory and quality standards. Additional responsibilities include mentoring junior transcriptionists, supporting quality control processes, and contributing to continuous improvement of workflows and documentation practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong core transcription skills, including Transcribing, Transcription, and Transcription Services.
- Candidates should possess solid medical language capabilities, including knowledge of Medical Terminology and familiarity with various clinical specialties.
- Candidates should possess excellent typing and keyboarding skills, with high speed and accuracy and proficiency in transcription software and word processing tools.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, grammar, and punctuation skills, with the ability to proofread and edit medical documents for clarity and consistency.
- Candidates should possess the ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements, along with strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Relevant experience as a medical transcriptionist, preferably in a senior or lead role, and prior work in hospital or clinical settings is highly beneficial.
Our workflow operates between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM IST, and we are primarily looking for Direct Upload MTs who can independently transcribe, review, and upload completed files directly to the client through the designated platform.
