Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior MEP Engineer with 10–15 years of experience in MEP execution, supervision, coordination and quality control for high-rise building construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC and Fire Fighting works for the ongoing IIT Bombay hostel construction project

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- MEP Execution & Supervision: Supervise and monitor complete MEP installation and execution activities for high-rise hostel buildings, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
- HVAC Systems: Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of HVAC systems, ventilation, ducting, piping and associated mechanical equipment.
- Electrical Systems: Monitor electrical installation works, including HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, cable trays, cabling, earthing, lighting and power distribution systems.
- Plumbing & Fire Fighting: Supervise water supply, drainage, sewage systems, fire hydrants, sprinklers, fire pumps and fire protection installations.
- PMC Coordination: Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, material submittals, method statements and contractor work progress.
- Site Coordination: Coordinate with Civil, Structural,



Architectural and MEP contractors to resolve site execution issues and avoid service clashes.
- Quality & Safety: Ensure MEP works comply with applicable NBC, IS codes, project quality standards and site safety requirements.
- Testing & Commissioning: Monitor inspection, testing, commissioning, snag rectification and final handover of MEP systems.
- Planning & Reporting: Monitor contractor schedules, work progress, material availability, manpower deployment and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.

Mandatory Experience & Skills
- 10–15 years of relevant MEP experience in building construction projects.
- Mandatory experience in high-rise residential, hostel, institutional or commercial building construction projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and Building Services.
- Experience in PMC supervision, contractor coordination, quality inspections and MEP execution.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MEP drawings, BOQ verification, testing and commissioning.
- Experience handling multidisciplinary MEP works in large-scale construction projects.

Preferred Candidate: Senior MEP Engineer with proven experience in high-rise building construction, preferably hostel, residential tower, institutional campus or government infrastructure projects. Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
