- About the Role: We are looking for an experienced HR leader to head the Human Resources function at our Raipur corporate office. You will own the complete employee lifecycle for a multi-location mining organisation and will build the HR systems, policies and compliance framework for a fast-growing ₹500-crore business.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end talent acquisition for corporate and mine site positions, including bulk site hiring, and drive closure within agreed turnaround times.
- Design, roll out and administer HR policies covering attendance, leave, travel, discipline, transfers, promotions and separations.
- Build and run the Performance Management System - KRA/KPI setting, mid-year and annual appraisals, incentive computation and PIP administration.
- Ensure full statutory compliance under the Mines Act 1952, Mines Rules 1955, Contract Labour (R&A;) Act, EPF, ESI, Payment of Bonus, Payment of Gratuity, Minimum Wages and Shops & Establishment.
- Manage contractor and contract-labour governance - licence validity, wage compliance verification, statutory registers and audit readiness.
- Lead industrial relations at mine sites:



grievance handling, disciplinary proceedings, domestic enquiries and liaison with labour authorities.
- Supervise payroll input accuracy, full & final settlements and HR MIS reporting to Management.
- Constitute and administer the POSH Internal Committee and drive the Company's code of conduct.
- Lead, mentor and review the performance of the corporate HR executive and the mine site HR team.
- Must-Have Skills:
- Proven HR generalist experience in mining, infrastructure, construction, cement or heavy manufacturing.
- Working command of Indian labour legislation and statutory register/return filing.
- Hands-on contract labour management and industrial relations exposure.
- Strong Excel / HRMS reporting; fluent Hindi and qualified English.
- Preferred:
- Prior experience in Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand or MP mining belt.
- Exposure to multi-site HR operations and mine site colony administration.
