- 7-12 years experience in Credit Risk with Microfinance/JLG/Rural Lending portfolios, strong knowledge of microfinance credit lifecycle and portfolio analytics, proficiency in Excel/SQL/Power BI/SAS

- Manage credit risk for Microfinance/JLG loan portfolio, monitor portfolio indicators, conduct segmentation and trend analysis, review credit policies, perform stress testing, ensure RBI compliance, collaborate with cross-functional teams

Role & responsibilities

- Manage credit risk for the Microfinance/JLG loan portfolio, ensuring portfolio quality and adherence to the Banks risk appetite.

- Monitor key portfolio indicators including PAR, delinquency, roll rates, vintage performance, collection efficiency, credit costs and concentration risk.

- Conduct portfolio segmentation, cohort/vintage and trend analysis to identify emerging credit risks and recommend corrective actions.

- Review and strengthen credit policies, underwriting norms, scorecards, exposure limits and risk controls for Microfinance lending.

- Monitor geographic, branch,



customer and product-level concentrations and recommend appropriate risk triggers/early warning indicators.

- Perform periodic stress testing and portfolio risk assessment and present key insights to senior management.

- Work closely with Business, Credit, Collections, Analytics and Risk teams to improve asset quality and control slippages.

- Ensure compliance with applicable RBI guidelines, internal credit policies and risk governance framework.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience: 712 years in Credit Risk/Portfolio Risk, preferably handling Microfinance/JLG/Rural Lending portfolios in Banks/SFBs/NBFC-MFIs.

- Strong knowledge of microfinance credit lifecycle, portfolio analytics, delinquency management and credit risk monitoring.

- Positive analytical skills with exposure to Excel/SQL/Power BI/SAS preferred.
