Why this role exists

NIAT runs industry-ready Upskilling programs at 40+ partner universities for the 2026 academic year. Signing a university is the easy part. Between the MoU and the first class sit agreements, addenda, regulatory replies, Board of Studies approvals, fee tables, faculty deployment and orientation, across universities in a dozen states.

You own that engine. If it's signed, it's yours to take to day one of class.

What you will own

1. Contracts, end to end. Turn business terms into drafts with Legal, negotiate clauses with Registrars, collect board resolutions and constitutional documents, and drive execution (e-sign and physical) to a filed, fully signed copy. Own annual addenda for every renewing university.

2. Regulatory readiness. Ensure and keep every partnership's documentation audit-ready.

3. Curriculum and BoS approvals. With the curriculum team, take each university's curriculum from mapping to Board of Studies acknowledgement on the academic calendar, including affiliating universities such as JNTU.

4. Admissions set-up. Confirm eligibility, seats and fee components in writing; build fee and revenue-share tables with Finance; hand admissions ops a clean, documented process per university.

5. Trainers planning. Campus-wise faculty count,



type and deployment with the instructors team; manage payroll transfers to universities where agreed.

6. Escrow and reconciliation. Escrow account opening, ER transfers, refunds and reconciliation with Finance.

7. The operating cadence. One source of truth for every university. Run trackers, weekly reviews and the Zonal Managers' reporting rhythm, and escalate early with a proposed fix.

8. Launch readiness. Orientation planning and reported-student data across campuses every intake.

Your first 90 days

- Day 30: Every open agreement, addendum and regulatory reply has an owner, a next step and a date in one tracker.
- Day 60: All 2026 addenda and pending signatures closed; BoS status known and dated for every partner university.
- Day 90: A written MoU-to-launch playbook the Zonal Managers follow for the 2027 intake, and a fee/revenue-share template Finance has signed off.

You'll thrive here if you

- Have run partnership, academic or university operations at an edtech, a private university's central office, or a consulting education practice
- Can read and redline a service agreement, and know what an indemnity, liability cap and jurisdiction clause do
- Know how universities work: Registrar, BoS, Academic Council, AICTE approvals, UGC regulations; affiliating vs deemed vs private universities
- Build spreadsheets people trust, and get the numbers right the first time
- Get senior people in other teams to hit your deadlines without pulling rank

Who you'll work with Zonal Managers across regions, Legal, Finance, Admissions Ops, the Curriculum and Instructors teams, Program Ops, and Registrars, Deans and Vice Chancellors at partner universities.
