Role & responsibilities

1.Lead financial operations, manage general ledger and P&L; analysis, ensure regulatory compliance, and supervise accounting or finance teams.

1. Typically reports to the Managing Director and handle all accounting and financial activities.
2. Own P&L; (Profit and Loss) analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, monthly/quarterly book closures, and variance reporting
3. Manage full-cycle accounting, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset registers.
4. Support annual budget creation, cash flow optimization, and long-term financial forecasting
5. Oversee statutory audits, tax filings (GST, corporate tax, etc.), internal controls, and regulatory adherence.
6. Handle daily banking operations, credit controls, and negotiations with financial institutions





Preferred candidate profile Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA Finance)

Minimum 8 to 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, financial planning, or auditing.

At least 3+ years in a managerial or supervisory role, directly leading a team of accountants or financial analysts

Prior experience working with or managing relationships with contract / trading organisation

Direct hands-on experience managing corporate tax filings, GST/VAT regulations, transfer pricing, and statutory compliance

Proficiency in enterprise-level software like Tally Prime
