Role & responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bill of quantities (BOQ) for projects.
- Review architectural, structural, drawings to quantify materials and project requirements.
- Conduct material take-offs and cost analysis.
- Evaluate and compare contractors commercial offers
- Prepare tender documents, bid evaluations, and contract recommendations.
- Monitor project costs and track budget utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
- Verify contractor bills, invoices, and payment certifications.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering solutions.
- Manage contract variations, change orders, and claims.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Maintain project cost reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and industry standards.




- Support project procurement activities and negotiate commercial terms when required.

Preferred candidate profile

- BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Procurement in Civil, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- 3-6years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in commercial office fit-outs, Factory construction projects.
- Solid knowledge of BOQ analysis, estimation, rate analysis, and contract management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and ERP/Project Management tools.
- Familiarity with construction materials, market rates, and procurement processes.
