Role Description The Senior Estimator and Project Manager is a fixed term 3 years contract role based to be operated remotely, overseeing end-to-end cost estimation and project delivery for residential & commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities include preparing detailed estimates and tenders, reviewing architectural and engineering plans, and developing accurate budgets and cost breakdowns for custom homes and multi-unit developments. The role coordinates schedules, subcontractors, and suppliers, monitors project progress against timelines and budgets, and manages variations and contract administration. Obtaining quotation from suppliers, preparing comparison and finalising with Construction Manager.

This position also involves collaborating with clients, designers, and consultants,



ensuring compliance with building codes and permits, and maintaining clear documentation and reporting.

The Senior

Estimator and Project Manager supports continuous improvement in processes, cost controls, and project outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong residential construction estimating skills, including quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and tender preparation.
- Proficiency in project management, scheduling, contract administration, and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans, and specifications for custom and multi-unit projects.
- Experience with construction and estimating software, spreadsheets, and digital project documentation tools.
- Solid knowledge of local building codes, permits, town planning requirements, and compliance processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative working style.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience considered.
- Prior experience in high-end residential builds, including French Provincial, Georgian, and contemporary homes in Australian market, is highly regarded.
