Job Summary

MyScaai Bharat Construction Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Construction Estimation Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate construction cost estimates, quantity take-offs, BOQs, material estimates, and rate analysis for residential and villa construction projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of civil construction, construction materials, labour costing, vendor quotations, and cost control, along with the ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential, villa, and building construction projects.
- Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for civil, structural, and finishing works.
- Calculate quantities of materials, labour, equipment, and other project resources.
- Prepare rate analysis for various construction activities and materials.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Compare vendor quotations and identify cost-effective procurement options without compromising quality.
- Estimate costs for excavation, foundations, RCC, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, painting, and finishing works.
- Prepare detailed cost sheets, budget estimates, and project-wise estimation reports.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, project managers, procurement, and site execution teams to clarify drawings and specifications.
- Identify cost variations, discrepancies, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in preparing project budgets, tender estimates, and client quotations.
- Maintain estimation records, rate databases, material prices, and vendor information.




- Support project teams in monitoring estimated costs against actual site expenditure.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all estimation deliverables.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction estimation, quantity take-offs, or cost estimation.
- Experience in residential, villa, or premium building construction projects is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, specifications, and BOQ preparation.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Practical experience in quantity calculation, rate analysis, and construction costing.

Technical Skills

- MS Excel – advanced formulas, cost sheets, and estimation templates.
- AutoCAD – drawing interpretation and quantity take-offs.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation and rate analysis.
- Understanding of RCC, steel reinforcement, masonry, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Familiarity with construction costing, vendor comparison, and material rate analysis.
- Knowledge of estimation software is an added advantage.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Accuracy of quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Timely submission of BOQs and estimation reports.
- Minimisation of estimation discrepancies and cost overruns.
- Accuracy of material and labour cost calculations.
- Effective vendor quotation comparison and cost optimisation.
- Coordination with project teams and timely resolution of drawing-related queries.

- Ability to manage multiple project estimates simultaneously.

- Willingness to coordinate with site teams and visit construction sites when required.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
