Key Tasks & responsibilities
Design develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins focusing on workflow optimization and automation.
Develop and maintain Jenkins shared libraries and plugins using Groovy.
Create and maintain automated scripts and tools using Python to enhance CI/CD processes.
Integrate various testing frameworks and code quality tools into the CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues and performance pipeline health and performance implementing improvements as needed.
Monitor daily state of CI setting
Provide weekly status reports of CI environment
Collaborate with development teams to integrate their projects into the CI/CD system.
Document CI/CD workflows best practices and troubleshooting guides.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in CI/CD tooling

Minimum education requirements and experience
Bachelor Science in Engineering Computer Science or related field with 5 years of commercial experience Master Science with 3 years of experience Expertise in DevOps Technologies & Principles (CI/CD)Experience with (Cloud Based) CI Systems like Jenkins Gitlab CI or even GitHub with (embedded) software build systems

Preferred qualifications & skills
Experience in pipeline/workflow development (e.g.



Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions).
Proficiency in container virtualization technologies (e.g. Docker or LXC).Skilled in platform-independent scripting languages (e.g. Python) for tool development and testing.
Proficiency in platform-dependent Unix scripting languages (e.g. BASH for Linux).
Advanced git usage for continuous integration and developer tooling with REST APIs and other service integrations.

Other recommended qualifications & skills
Experience in Cloud Infrastructure Technologies & Tools e.g. Azure Cloud (AKS)Container orchestration Systems e.g. KubernetesJSON; XML for configuration management of the different tools & services
Experience with Agile working model (Scrum)Software Architecture modelling expertise
Mentoring experience in DevOps fieldsSought after soft skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills.
