We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Electrical Manager to lead the electrical design, execution, and operations of our wind power projects The ideal candidate will bring in-depth expertise in electrical systems within the renewable energy domain, specifically wind power, and ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory frameworks, and project timelines

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the electrical engineering aspects of wind power projects from concept to commissioning

Review and approve electrical system designs including substations,

switchyards, transmission lines, and grid integration schemes

Ensure compliance with IEC, CEA, IS, and other relevant electrical standards and safety regulations

Coordinate with OEMs, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery

Provide technical leadership for electrical equipment selection, system studies

(load flow, short circuit, protection coordination), and risk assessments

Review project specifications, electrical drawings, and BOQs

Manage procurement and vendor evaluation for key electrical equipment





Monitor construction activities and support the site teams in troubleshooting and quality control

Liaise with utilities / distribution / transmission authorities for grid connectivity, load approvals, and power evacuation planning

Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks

Support the commissioning and handover of electrical systems and ensure documentation and compliance audits

Mentor and develop junior engineers in the electrical team

Required Skills and Experience

BE/B TECH in Electrical Engineering (Master s Degree is a plus)

Minimum 15 years of experience in the power sector, with at least 8 years in wind power/renewables

Robust knowledge of electrical design, protection systems, substation engineering, and grid integration

Hands-on experience with SCADA, RTU, communication protocols, and automation systems used in wind farms

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and liaison processes with state and central utilities

Proficiency in tools such as ETAP, AutoCAD, DIgSILENT, or similar

Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills

Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
