About the Role

Ujala Cygnus Amritdhara My Hospital is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Senior Dietician to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for assessing nutritional needs, developing therapeutic diet plans, counseling patients, and supporting clinical teams in delivering comprehensive nutritional care.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess the nutritional status of inpatients and outpatients.
- Design and implement individualized diet plans based on medical conditions and treatment goals.
- Provide dietary counseling for patients with diabetes, renal disorders, cardiac conditions, obesity, gastrointestinal disorders, and other clinical conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and modify nutritional interventions as required.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient nutrition management.




- Conduct nutritional screening and assessments for admitted patients.
- Ensure food quality, hygiene, and compliance with hospital dietary standards.
- Educate patients and attendants on healthy eating habits and therapeutic diets.
- Maintain accurate patient nutrition records and reports.

Requirements

- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a multispecialty hospital.
- Solid knowledge of therapeutic and clinical nutrition.
- Excellent counseling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle critical care and specialty nutrition requirements.
- Proficiency in documentation and nutrition assessment tools.
