MANDATORY SKILLS

- 7+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or data warehouse design.
- Strong data modeling experience in the healthcare payer domain.
- Experience creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Hands-on experience with dimensional modeling, star schemas, normalized models, and slowly changing dimensions.
- Strong understanding of primary keys, foreign keys, natural keys, surrogate keys, grain, cardinality, and referential integrity.
- Ability to analyze source data, data dictionaries, and existing schemas.
- Experience creating source-to-target mappings and defining transformation rules.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data warehouse development.
- Ability to work independently and deliver with minimal supervision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for healthcare payer data platforms.
- Translate business and data requirements into scalable, governed data structures.
- Develop dimensional, relational, and normalized models for analytics and reporting.
- Define entities, attributes, relationships, keys, grain, hierarchies, and data lineage.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and analytics teams.
- Review source systems and data dictionaries to identify mapping gaps and inconsistencies.
- Establish source-to-target mappings for Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.
- Support data warehouse design and implementation on Snowflake.




- Ensure models follow data quality, security, governance, and performance standards.
- Document assumptions, business rules, transformation logic, and data relationships.
- Review existing models and recommend improvements for completeness and scalability.
- Deliver high-quality outputs within tight timelines.

PREFERRED SKILLS
- Healthcare payer domain experience in one or more of the following:

- Claims

- Members and eligibility

- Providers

- Plans and benefits

- Groups and contracts

- Billing and premium

- Payments and commissions

- Care management

- Compliance and regulatory data
- Snowflake experience, including Bronze/Silver/Gold layers, Streams, Tasks, Snowpipes, Dynamic Tables, SQL performance optimization, data governance, and security.
- Experience with dbt and dbt-Snowflake projects.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, X12, 837, 835, and enrollment data.
- Experience documenting data lineage, data quality rules, and business definitions.
- Exposure to data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or equivalent.

- Quick learner who can understand unfamiliar data domains and source systems.
- Able to contribute immediately with minimal onboarding.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented when validating grain, keys, mappings, and business rules.
- Comfortable clarifying ambiguous requirements and documenting assumptions.
- Clear communicator who can explain technical models to technical and business stakeholders.
- Capable of managing multiple workstreams and delivering under tight deadlines.

SCREENING PRIORITY Prioritize candidates with 7+ years of data modeling experience and robust healthcare payer domain expertise. Snowflake experience is preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹3,500,000.00 per year
