About the Role

Aconic Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant specializing in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and vRealize Orchestrator (vRO) automation for a banking client engagement.

The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in VMware automation, workflow development, and VMware Cloud Foundation environments, with a proven ability to design, develop, deploy, debug, and troubleshoot automation workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, deploy, debug, and troubleshoot vRO workflows, actions, and configurations.
- Develop automation solutions across the VMware Cloud Foundation technology stack.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, lifecycle management, and operational processes.
- Work with VMware vCenter and VMware Cloud Foundation environments.
- Troubleshoot workflow execution issues and optimize automation performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with technical teams to translate requirements into effective automation solutions.
- Support VMware automation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of overall relevant IT experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with vRealize Orchestrator (vRO).
- Strong expertise in workflow development, automation, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 5.x or later.
- Hands-on experience with VMware vCenter.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts.

Preferred Skills
- Exposure to VMware Cloud Foundation 9.x.
- Familiarity with VMware NSX and vSAN.
- Experience automating provisioning, lifecycle management, and operational workflows.

Compensation CTC: ₹45–50 LPA, depending on relevant experience and technical expertise.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in automation development, workflow engineering, API integration, and building scalable, reusable automation solutions across VMware environments.

This role emphasizes automation solution engineering and development, rather than infrastructure administration or routine day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, implement, and maintain automation workflows across VMware environments.
- Build scalable and reusable automation solutions using VMware Cloud Foundation, VMware Aria, and Salt automation technologies.
- Develop and maintain API integrations to automate infrastructure and operational processes.
- Engineer and enhance workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot automation scripts, workflows,



integrations, and related technical issues.
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders to translate requirements into robust automation solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation frameworks and solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant IT experience with strong hands-on automation development expertise.
- Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
- Working knowledge of VMware Aria and Salt automation.
- Strong experience in workflow development and API integration.
- Ability to design and implement scalable, reusable automation solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience delivering automation solutions in enterprise environments.

Technical Environment
- VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), including versions 5.2.x and 9.1.x as applicable to the engagement.
- VMware Aria.
- Salt automation.
- Workflow development and API integrations.

Important Role Requirement Candidates should have a strong development-oriented automation engineering background. Professionals whose experience is primarily limited to infrastructure administration, monitoring, or routine operations may not be suitable for this role.

Compensation

CTC: ₹45–50 LPA, depending on relevant experience and technical expertise.
