About The Role Schrödinger is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Associate – India Finance to support its finance and accounting operations in Hyderabad.

This opportunity is particularly relevant to ACCA professionals seeking to apply their expertise in financial accounting, reporting, compliance, internal controls and finance operations within a global business workplace.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional and international teams, contributing to accurate financial reporting, operational efficiency and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, journal entries, accruals and prepaid expenses.
- Support month-end closing activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare reconciliations, management information reports (MIS) and supporting financial schedules.
- Assist with financial reporting and ensure compliance with established accounting policies.

Accounts Payable & Finance Operations

- Prepare and process purchase orders, work orders and vendor invoices.
- Perform three-way matching and ensure accuracy in vendor payments.




- Maintain vendor and employee master records in Oracle NetSuite.
- Review employee reimbursements and corporate credit card expenses.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve payment and accounting queries.

Taxation, Compliance & Internal Controls

- Support GST and TDS calculations, filings and related statutory compliance.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and adherence to financial control procedures.
- Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of supporting schedules.
- Contribute to improvements in financial processes, controls and compliance practices.

Treasury & Stakeholder Collaboration Perform bank reconciliations and support cash flow reporting. Assist with payment processing and treasury-related activities.

Collaborate with finance colleagues and stakeholders across global teams.

Identify opportunities for automation, process standardisation and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Eligibility

- ACCA Affiliates and Members with relevant professional experience are encouraged to apply, subject to employer confirmation of qualification eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.




- Approximately 6–8 years of relevant experience for finance graduates, or 3–5 years for CA-IPCC-qualified candidates, as specified in the original employer requirements.
- Relevant experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, accounts payable, reconciliations or statutory compliance.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and reporting practices.
- Knowledge of financial controls, reconciliations and audit processes.
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite or comparable ERP systems.
- Familiarity with US GAAP and international accounting environments.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS and Indian statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
