Senior Analyst Transaction Banking Operations | 4–7 Years

Are you an experienced banking professional with expertise in transaction banking, treasury services, cash management and payment operations? We are looking for a skilled Senior Analyst to manage complex transactions, resolve operational exceptions and support US regional and institutional banking customers while maintaining strong operational controls and service quality.

Responsibilities

- Ensure accurate and timely processing of wire transfers, ACH payments, SWIFT transactions and cash concentration services.
- Investigate and resolve complex payment exceptions, reconciliation breaks, operational issues and client queries.
- Manage transaction lifecycle activities while maintaining service quality, accuracy and operational control standards.
- Perform root cause analysis for escalated exceptions and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support client service reviews, performance reporting and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with KYC, AML, sanctions screening and other regulatory compliance activities.
- Review and monitor daily banking reports, including overdraft, DDA, SAV, SDB and CD reports.
- Coach junior analysts, review transaction output for quality and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with the bank's middle office and other internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
- Support reconciliations, risk controls and process enhancements across transaction banking operations.

Requirements

- 4–7 years of experience in Transaction Banking, Treasury Services, Cash Management, Commercial Banking Operations, Payments or Financial Services.
- Demonstrated experience handling complex client servicing events, payment exceptions and reconciliations.
- Robust understanding of payment systems,



treasury products and transaction banking operations.
- Hands-on experience with Fiserv, DNA and AFS Vision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and data analysis tools.
- Experience with banking platforms, treasury management systems and workflow tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce or a related field; MBA, CA, CFA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management and communication skills.
