About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant – Finance to manage day-to-day accounting, financial reconciliation, taxation, marketplace settlements, and MIS reporting for our growing e-commerce business.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Tally, GST, e-commerce accounting, marketplace reconciliation, banking, payment gateways, inventory accounting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Manage day-to-day accounting entries and maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Handle purchase, sales, expenses, receipts, payments, journal entries, and ledger posting.
- Maintain proper documentation and supporting records for all financial transactions.
- Perform regular ledger scrutiny and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Ensure timely closure of monthly accounts.

2. E-commerce & Marketplace Reconciliation
- Reconcile sales and settlements from platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Nykaa, Blinkit and other marketplaces.
- Reconcile marketplace orders, returns, cancellations, commissions, shipping charges, TCS/TDS, discounts, and deductions.
- Track marketplace receivables and identify pending or incorrect settlements.
- Reconcile Shopify / website sales with payment gateway settlements.
- Coordinate with operations and marketplace teams to resolve financial discrepancies.

3. GST & Tax Compliance
- Prepare data and support timely filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other GST returns.




- Perform GST reconciliation between books, sales records and GST portals.
- Verify Input Tax Credit (ITC) and identify mismatches.
- Handle TDS-related accounting and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with CA / tax consultants for GST, TDS and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper records for audits and tax assessments.

4. Bank & Payment Reconciliation
- Perform regular bank reconciliation.
- Reconcile payment gateways, UPI, cards, COD and other collection channels.
- Track outstanding payments and unidentified transactions.
- Verify bank receipts and payments against accounting records.

5. Inventory & Cost Accounting
- Maintain accounting records related to inventory purchases and stock movement.
- Reconcile inventory records with accounting data.
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for stock discrepancies.
- Assist in calculating product costs, purchase costs and inventory valuation.
- Monitor inventory-related adjustments, damages, returns and write-offs.

6. MIS & Financial Reporting
- Prepare regular MIS reports for management.
- Prepare sales, expense, receivable, payable and profitability reports.
- Provide monthly financial summaries and variance reports.
- Track revenue, expenses, margins and other key financial indicators.
- Support management in financial analysis and decision-making.

7. Accounts Payable & Receivable




- Monitor vendor invoices and payment schedules.
- Maintain vendor ledgers and reconcile outstanding balances.
- Track customer and marketplace receivables.
- Follow up on pending payments and discrepancies.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment processing.

8. Audit & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records for internal and statutory audits.
- Prepare documents and schedules required by auditors and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and financial controls.
- Identify accounting errors and recommend corrective actions.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS and accounting principles.
- Experience in e-commerce / marketplace accounting.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of bank and payment gateway reconciliation.
- Experience with marketplace settlements and deductions.
- Good understanding of inventory accounting.
- Ability to prepare MIS and management reports.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in accounting / finance.
- Experience in an e-commerce, D2C, retail or marketplace-based company will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience handling Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Nykaa, Blinkit or Shopify accounting will be preferred.

Education

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
