We are looking for an experienced Security Team Manager with strong hands-on expertise in AWS Cloud Security, Enterprise Firewalls, Network Security, Security Operations, and Hybrid/Multi-Cloud Security.

The candidate will lead the security team while remaining technically hands-on in firewall management, AWS security, threat detection, security monitoring, incident response, and security architecture.

Strong experience with AWS Network Firewall, Palo Alto, Fortinet, SIEM, IDS/IPS, NIST, and hybrid/multi-cloud security architectures is required.

Key Responsibilities

Security Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and manage Cloud and Network Security teams.
- Define team priorities, processes, SLAs, and operational standards.
- Act as the technical escalation point for complex security incidents and issues.
- Review and approve security architecture, firewall changes, and security designs.
- Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure, Network, DevOps, Application, and SOC teams.

Firewall & Network Security

- Design, configure, administer, troubleshoot, and optimize Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.
- Manage firewall policies, NAT, VPN, routing, segmentation, security zones, and threat-prevention controls.
- Perform firewall rule reviews, security hardening, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Manage and troubleshoot IDS/IPS solutions.

AWS Cloud Security & Firewall

- Design and implement security controls for AWS cloud environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Network Firewall.
- Configure and manage AWS Network Firewall policies, stateful/stateless rules, traffic inspection, domain filtering, and logging.
- Design and implement centralized firewall and security inspection architectures.




- Secure AWS workloads using appropriate AWS security controls and services.
- Monitor and investigate AWS security events and network traffic.
- Integrate AWS security and firewall logs with SIEM platforms.
- Understand the security implications of AWS Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, and hybrid connectivity architectures.
- Troubleshoot AWS security and firewall-related issues.

Hybrid & Multi-Cloud Security

- Design and secure hybrid and multi-cloud security architectures.
- Implement consistent security controls across AWS, on-premises, and other cloud environments.
- Review security architecture and traffic flows across hybrid environments.
- Support secure connectivity and traffic inspection between cloud and on-premises environments.

Security Operations & Monitoring

- Manage security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response.
- Strong understanding of SIEM, IDS/IPS, security event correlation, alerting, and investigation.
- Integrate AWS, firewall, endpoint, and network logs with SIEM platforms.
- Lead security incident investigation, containment, remediation, and root-cause analysis.

Security Frameworks & Compliance

- Strong understanding and practical application of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability management, and security hardening.
- Develop security policies, SOPs, runbooks, and architecture documentation.
- Support security audits and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in Network Security, Cloud Security, or Security Engineering.
- Technical/team leadership experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto and/or Fortinet firewalls.
- Strong hands-on AWS Cloud Security experience.
- Practical experience with AWS Network Firewall.
- Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, incident response, and security monitoring.
- Positive understanding of NIST and security governance.
- Understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud security architectures.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder-management skills.
