Role Description The Security Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for maintaining a secure and secure environment across the facility. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and authorizations, and conducting routine patrols of premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or safety incidents. The role involves operating security equipment such as CCTV systems, reporting irregularities or suspicious activities, and documenting incidents and daily security logs.

The Security

Officer collaborates with site management and other teams to enforce security procedures, support emergency response drills,



and ensure compliance with company and regulatory safety protocols. This position requires consistent presence, alertness, and professionalism in interactions with employees, visitors, and contractors.

Qualifications

- Experience in physical security operations, including access control, patrolling, and incident reporting.
- Ability to operate and monitor security systems such as CCTV, alarm panels, and communication equipment.
- Strong awareness of safety and emergency response procedures, including basic knowledge of fire safety and evacuation protocols.
- Good observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to assess and respond quickly to potential risks.
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, visitors, and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Previous experience as a Security Officer or in a similar protective services role; experience in industrial or environmental services settings is an advantage.

- Basic computer skills for maintaining logs, preparing incident reports, and using digital record-keeping tools.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by site operations.
- Relevant security training or certification, and a clean background record; familiarity with local security regulations is beneficial.
