Job Summary
Orchids The International School is seeking a passionate and qualified Secondary Hindi Teacher to deliver engaging and effective Hindi language instruction to students in Grades 6th - 10th. The ideal candidate should foster a positive learning environment, promote language proficiency, and support students' overall academic development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver Hindi lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Teach grammar, literature, writing, reading, speaking, and comprehension skills.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning materials.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, class tests, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents during PTMs.
- Maintain student records, attendance, and academic documentation.
- Create an interactive and inclusive classroom workplace.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom instruction.
- Participate in school events, cultural activities, faculty meetings, and professional development programs.
- Ensure discipline and maintain classroom management in accordance with school policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the teaching-learning process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hindi or a related subject.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- Master's degree in Hindi is preferred.
- Strong command of spoken and written Hindi and English.
Experience
- 2- 5 years of teaching experience in secondary classes (Grades 6th-10th).
- Experience in CBSE/ICSE curriculum is preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills may also be considered.
