About CloudHire

CloudHire is building an AI-powered recruitment platform that helps companies streamline their hiring processes through intelligent candidate sourcing, job distribution, applicant tracking, and automation.

We are looking for a hands-on Third-Party Integrations Engineer who can help us expand our ecosystem by integrating with job portals and other third-party services.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a product-based company, building backend integrations, working with external APIs, and collaborating with third-party platform partners to establish and maintain technical integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Third-Party Integrations: Design, develop, and maintain integrations with job portals and recruitment platforms such as Indeed, Naukri, LinkedIn, and other relevant hiring platforms.
- Platform Partnerships: Work with external platform teams, technical partners, and API providers to understand integration requirements, obtain API access, navigate onboarding processes, and drive integrations from initiation to production.
- API Development: Build reliable integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth 2.0, API keys, and other authentication mechanisms.
- Backend Engineering: Develop and maintain scalable backend services, integration modules, data synchronization workflows, and error-handling mechanisms.
- Integration Architecture:



Design reusable integration frameworks that allow CloudHire to onboard multiple third-party platforms efficiently.
- Reliability & Monitoring: Implement retries, rate-limit handling, logging, monitoring, idempotency, and failure recovery to ensure reliable integrations.
- AI-Assisted Development: Use Claude Code and other AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, and documentation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to translate partnership requirements into technical implementations.
- Documentation & Maintenance: Maintain API documentation, integration specifications, technical workflows, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2–4 years of hands-on software engineering experience, preferably in a product-based company.
- Strong proficiency in backend development using Node.js, Python, Java, or a similar backend technology.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and building production-grade API-based workflows.
- Valuable understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth 2.0, JWT, API authentication, pagination, and rate limiting.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience using Claude Code or similar AI coding agents for software development.




- Ability to understand third-party API documentation, troubleshoot integration issues, and independently drive technical implementation.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and ownership skills.

Preferred Experience

- Previously worked on integrations with external platforms, vendors, technology partners, or API providers.
- Experience with job portals, recruitment platforms, ATS systems, HRTech products, or SaaS integrations.
- Experience coordinating with third-party companies to obtain API credentials, complete technical onboarding, resolve API access issues, and launch integrations.
- Familiarity with job posting APIs, applicant tracking workflows, candidate synchronization, and job application management.
- Experience building reusable connectors or integration frameworks for multiple external platforms.
- Familiarity with queues, asynchronous processing, Redis, AWS, and event-driven architectures.

What We’re Looking For We are looking for an engineer who can take ownership of an integration end to end — from researching a platform’s API capabilities and coordinating with its technical team to building, testing, deploying, and maintaining the integration.

This is a hands-on engineering role that combines backend development, external platform integrations, and technical partnership coordination.

- The ideal candidate has already helped a product company integrate with multiple external platforms and can help CloudHire scale toward 100+ third-party integrations.
