? Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule materials on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Coordinate with local and long-lead-time suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Follow up with suppliers on deliveries, shortages, rejections, and quality issues.
- Manage procurement activities to ensure cost-effective purchasing and timely material availability.
- Resolve supply, quality, and invoicing issues in coordination with vendors.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Stores, Logistics, and Accounts teams.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock classification, and inventory targets.
- Implement VAVE initiatives and manage engineering changes to minimize material obsolescence.
- Drive vendor development and continuous improvement in supplier performance.
- Ensure on-time availability of spare parts.
- Coordinate vendor payments and maintain updated purchase orders in the ERP system.
