Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAS & Python Lead with strong hands-on expertise in SAS programming, predictive analytics, and Machine Learning model development using Python. The candidate should have experience building, validating, and optimizing predictive models using SAS and Python, along with proven team leadership and project delivery capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SAS programs using DATA steps, PROC SQL, macros, and statistical procedures.
- Perform predictive analytics and statistical modeling using SAS.
- Build, train, validate, and optimize Machine Learning and predictive models using Python.
- Apply statistical techniques, feature engineering, and model evaluation methodologies to solve business problems.
- Lead and mentor a team of SAS developers, Python developers, and analytics professionals.
- Review code, ensure analytical quality,



and drive best practices in model development and validation.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of overall experience in SAS development, analytics, and predictive modeling.
- Strong hands-on SAS coding experience with a focus on predictive analytics.
- Proven experience building Machine Learning and predictive models using Python.
- Proficiency in Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and Statsmodels.
- Solid knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and model validation techniques.
- Proven experience leading a technical team and managing project deliverables.
- Experience with SAS Viya, SAS Enterprise Guide, or SAS Enterprise Miner is an added advantage.
