We are currently hiring for the position of SAP ECC HCM Payroll Consultant. The candidate will be responsible for configuring, implementing, supporting, and maintaining SAP ECC HCM Payroll solutions, ensuring accurate payroll processing, troubleshooting, and compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, implement, and support SAP ECC HCM Payroll functionalities.

Manage payroll schemas, Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs), wage types, and payroll configurations.

Execute regular payroll runs, off-cycle payroll, retroactive accounting, and payroll corrections.

Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and resolve payroll-related issues.

Support end-to-end payroll processing, including gross-to-net calculations, deductions, allowances, and statutory contributions.

Manage payroll posting to SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and resolve posting errors.

Support integration between SAP HCM Payroll, Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), and Time Management (PT).

Conduct payroll testing, parallel payroll runs, and reconciliation activities.





Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for enhancements and custom developments.

Support payroll year-end activities, system upgrades, patches, and ongoing maintenance.

Provide end-user training and prepare functional documentation.

Ensure payroll processes comply with applicable labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.

Key Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP ECC HCM Payroll.

Robust hands-on experience in SAP Payroll configuration, schemas, PCRs, and wage types.

Good understanding of payroll processing, retroactive accounting, and off-cycle payroll.

Experience in gross-to-net calculations, deductions, allowances, and statutory contributions.

Knowledge of payroll posting to SAP FI and integration with PA, OM, and Time Management.

Experience in payroll troubleshooting, testing, parallel runs, and reconciliation.

Understanding of payroll year-end activities, system maintenance, and statutory compliance.

Experience in preparing functional specifications and coordinating with technical teams.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Banking / Financial Services domain experience is preferred.
