Role Description The SAP Financial Accounting Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The consultant will configure, maintain, and support SAP FICO modules to meet business and financial reporting requirements.

Daily responsibilities include analyzing financial processes, gathering requirements from stakeholders, designing and documenting solutions, and performing system testing and validation. The role involves collaborating with finance and accounting teams, resolving system issues, preparing functional specifications, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The consultant will also provide user training,



ensure compliance with internal controls, and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Robust Finance and Accounting knowledge, with the ability to interpret financial data and support statutory and management reporting.
- Hands-on experience with SAP FICO, including configuration, integration, and support of core financial modules.
- Consulting experience, with the ability to gather requirements, propose solutions, and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
- Robust Analytical Skills for troubleshooting issues, optimizing processes, and validating data accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, SAP certification) are an advantage.
- Experience in on-site client environments and familiarity with standard project methodologies is beneficial.
- Ability to work full time in Bengaluru and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting.
