SAP BASIS Solution Architect: Pre-Sales (m/f/d)

Your Task

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Solution Architect with strong expertise in SAP landscape transformation, cloud migrations, and pre-sales solutioning. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration, S/4HANA migrations, HANA upgrades, and public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). The candidate will be responsible for solution architecture, proposal development, customer presentations, and solution defense during the sales lifecycle. This role requires 6 to 9 years of experience and offers an open/hybrid location.

Key Responsibilities

- Define end-to-end SAP solutions for customer transformation and migration programs
- Design and architect SAP S/4HANA migration and greenfield implementation solutions
- Lead pre-sales activities, including solution estimation, proposal preparation, and effort sizing
- Support RFP/RFI responses and participate in customer workshops and discovery sessions
- Prepare and deliver solution presentations, oral submissions, and defend proposed solutions with customers
- Collaborate with sales, delivery, and consulting teams to create winning proposals
- Assess existing SAP landscapes and recommend modernization strategies
- Design SAP deployment architectures on public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Provide technical guidance on SAP BASIS administration, cloud migration, HANA upgrades, and SAP infrastructure optimization
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to project execution

Your Profile

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Solution Architect with strong expertise in SAP landscape transformation, cloud migrations, and pre-sales solutioning, with hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration, S/4HANA migrations, HANA upgrades, and public cloud platforms.

Must Have Skills

- 6 to 9 years of overall SAP experience
- Strong expertise in SAP BASIS
- Hands-on experience in SAP Public Cloud Migration




- Hands-on experience in SAP HANA Upgrades
- Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA environments
- Certification in SAP on Azure, AWS, or GCP (mandatory)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Pre-Sales Solution Architect role
- Proven experience in S/4HANA migration
- Experience in system conversion scenarios
- Experience in brownfield implementation scenarios
- Experience in greenfield implementation scenarios
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture
- Solid understanding of BASIS administration
- Strong understanding of landscape design
- Strong understanding of system management
- Experience in solution definition from a pre-sales perspective
- Experience in effort estimation from a pre-sales perspective
- Experience in architecture from a pre-sales perspective
- Prior experience in SAP consulting engagements
- Prior experience in SAP delivery engagements
- Exposure to SAP solution offerings across multiple modules at an enterprise architecture level
- Strong understanding of cloud-based SAP deployment models
- Strong understanding of migration strategies
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills

- Experience across multiple public cloud platforms
- Knowledge of SAP RISE
