Role Description The SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) Developer will work full time on-site at the Mumbai office. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining SAP ABAP programs and enhancements to support business processes and enterprise solutions. The developer will work with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, implement interfaces using IDoc and BAPI, and optimize existing code for performance and reliability.

Daily responsibilities include debugging and troubleshooting issues,



performing code reviews, preparing technical documentation, and supporting system upgrades and integrations. The role also requires collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure stable, scalable, and secure SAP solutions aligned with organizational standards.

Qualifications

- Strong programming foundation, including Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) and general Programming skills.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application within SAP ABAP.
- Hands-on experience with SAP integration technologies, including IDoc and BAPI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with SAP modules (such as FI, MM, SD, or HCM) and knowledge of SAP development lifecycle.
- Ability to analyze requirements, create technical designs, and deliver clean, maintainable code.
- Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and readiness to work on-site in Mumbai.
- Experience with performance tuning, debugging tools, and transport management in SAP is an advantage.
- Familiarity with modern development practices such as version control, unit testing, and documentation standards is beneficial.
