Role: Grow orders for wind turbine spares from OEMs, wind farm owners and O&M; companies, and collect payment on them.
Key responsibilities
- Manage relationships with Suzlon, Vestas and Gamesa/SGRE procurement and service teams
- Find wind farm owners and O&M; providers who need spares for older fleets
- Prepare quotations from drawings with inputs from Production and Purchase; negotiate terms
- Track and respond to GeM tenders and RFQs
- Follow up orders, dispatch documents and payments
- Report weekly on enquiries, quotations, orders and collections
Required skills
- B2B technical sales in engineering components or spares
- Basic drawing reading; quotation and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel; English and Tamil
Preferred skills and profile
- Direct wind turbine spares or OEM vendor development experience
- Knowledge of OEM vendor approval, GeM and PSU tenders
- Contacts in wind farm O&M; teams across Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Karnataka
- Someone who can show order booking and collection numbers, not only handled accounts”
