1. About the Role

Smart IT Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for energetic, customer-focused, and target-oriented candidates for the position of Sales Associate - Health Insurance. The selected candidates will be responsible for promoting health insurance products, generating business leads, assisting customers in selecting suitable insurance plans, and achieving assigned sales targets.

The role requires excellent communication, customer relationship management, and sales skills, along with a willingness to work in a target-driven environment.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Identify and generate new business leads through field visits, customer referrals, tele calling, and other sales activities.
- Promote and sell health insurance policies to individuals, families, and prospective customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable health insurance plans.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
- Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, and daily activity reports.

3. Eligibility Criteria

- Minimum:



10+2 / Higher Secondary.
- Graduate in any discipline preferred.

Experience:

- Freshers with good communication and sales aptitude may apply.
- Experience in health insurance, life insurance, banking, financial services, or field sales will be an added advantage.

4. Required Skills

- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of health insurance products or willingness to learn.
- Willingness to travel locally for field sales.

1. Candidate Requirements

- Strong knowledge of the Meghalaya market and local business environment will be preferred.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of district-level business targets.
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of local/regional languages are Mandatory.
