Ascenta Digital Solutions is looking for Field & Market Research Interns to help us take our church management software to churches across Chennai.

About us

Ascenta Digital Solutions is a software development agency based in Chennai. We are building a simple church management software that helps churches keep their member records organised and stay connected with their members on WhatsApp. We are now introducing it to churches with a 6-month free trial.

About the role

This is a field role. You will visit churches in person, meet pastors and committee members, and understand how they manage their members, records and communication today. You will demonstrate our software, help interested churches get started on the free trial, and bring back what you learn so we can build a better product.

What you will do

- Visit churches in your assigned area and meet pastors, secretaries and committee members
- Understand how churches currently manage member records, committee handovers and communication
- Demonstrate the software and explain its features in simple language (Tamil and English)




- Help interested churches sign up for the 6-month free trial and get started
- Record observations after every visit: needs, common problems and feature requests
- Collect feedback from churches already using the software
- Share weekly reports of visits, findings and churches onboarded

Who we are looking for

- Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Preferred: B.Com, BBA, M.Com, MBA, or degrees related to sales, marketing or business administration. Candidates from other fields are also welcome
- Comfortable speaking in Tamil and English
- Confident meeting recent people and speaking with community leaders and elders
- Willing to travel within Chennai

- Must have a smartphone
