Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Officer for our Food Manufacturing Facility. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety, compliance with statutory requirements, implementation of safety policies, and maintaining a safe working environment across all operations.
Key Responsibilities Safety Management
- Implement and monitor safety policies and procedures in the manufacturing facility
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of plant and equipment
- Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with Factory Act, Food Safety Standards, and other statutory requirements
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation
- Prepare and submit safety reports to management
- Maintain incident/accident records and investigate root causes
Training & Awareness
- Conduct safety training programs for employees and workers
- Organize fire drills and emergency evacuation drills
- Promote safety awareness among employees
- Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Incident Management
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses
- Ensure machine safety and safe working practices
- Monitor housekeeping standards in production areas
- Inspect fire safety equipment and emergency exits
- Ensure proper chemical handling and storage
Qualification Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent (Mandatory)
- Certification in Fire & Safety preferred
- Knowledge of safety standards applicable to food manufacturing industry
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Safety Officer
- Experience in Food Manufacturing / FMCG Industry preferred
- Experience in handling safety audits and compliance

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
