Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager - Training to design, implement, and manage training programs across our retail stores. The incumbent will be responsible for enhancing employee performance, customer service standards, product knowledge, and operational excellence through effective learning and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify training needs across retail stores and corporate functions.
- Develop and execute onboarding programs for recent employees.
- Conduct classroom and on-the-job training sessions for store teams.
- Train employees on customer service, sales techniques, store operations, SOPs, and compliance.
- Design product knowledge training related to organic foods, groceries, fresh produce, and health products.
- Create training calendars and ensure timely execution.
- Track training effectiveness through assessments, mystery audits, and employee performance metrics.
- Partner with Store Managers and Regional Managers to improve team productivity.
- Develop training content, presentations, manuals, and e-learning modules.




- Ensure consistent implementation of company policies and operational standards across stores.
- Maintain training records, attendance, and compliance reports.
- Support leadership development programs for store supervisors and managers.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Management, Learning & Development, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Training & Development, preferably in Retail, FMCG, Food Retail, Supermarkets, or Grocery chains.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
- Experience in designing training modules and competency frameworks.
- Good understanding of retail operations, customer service, and sales processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office and LMS platforms.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel across store locations as required.
