We are hiring an experienced R&D; Leader – Speciality Chemicals & Lubricants for one of our client.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced R&D; professional passionate about chemical formulations, product development, process optimisation and technology transfer. If you have expertise in Water-Based Mould Release Agents, Mould Release Lubricants or Die-Cast Lubricants , we would love to connect with you!

? Key Responsibilities

✅ Lead R&D; initiatives, manage technical teams and drive new product development.

✅ Develop and optimise formulations for Water-Based Mould Release Agents, Lubricants and Die-Cast Lubricants .

✅ Lead technology transfer and scale-up activities from laboratory trials to commercial manufacturing.

✅ Work on water-based, solvent-based and oil-based chemical formulations.

✅ Drive formulation development involving wax, oil and silicone emulsions, surfactants, additives, corrosion inhibitors and other speciality chemicals.

✅ Establish and strengthen R&D; laboratory facilities, technical processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

✅ Identify alternative raw materials and packaging materials to improve sourcing efficiency and reduce costs.

✅ Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance and Marketing teams to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.

✅ Lead process improvement, product costing,



quality management and cost-reduction initiatives.

✅ Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements and applicable industry regulations.

✅ Monitor industry developments, explore new technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

? What We're Looking For

? 10–15 years of experience in R&D;, preferably in speciality chemicals, industrial lubricants or related chemical manufacturing industries.

? Strong hands-on expertise in Water-Based Mould Release Agents and/or Mould Release Lubricants .

? Experience with Die-Cast Lubricants, chemical formulations and product development .

? Knowledge of emulsions, surfactants, additives, corrosion inhibitors and formulation chemistry.

? Proven experience in technology transfer, scale-up and manufacturing process optimisation.

? Experience in R&D; team leadership, project management and technical problem-solving.

? Understanding of quality management, SOPs, product costing and cost-reduction strategies.

? Professionals with experience in startups or fast-growing manufacturing environments will be an added advantage.

? Educational Qualifications M.Sc. in Chemistry or a relevant scientific discipline; Ph.D. candidates are also encouraged to apply.
