RESPONSIBILITY OF THE QUALITY MANAGER

● To have knowledge in preparation of SOPs

● To ensure ALL SOPS of QC are correct and clear.

● To ensure all formats being followed by QC are approved, updated and mentioned in SOP

● To make annual GOAL sheet for Quality Team

● To make organisation chart for Quality Department

● To assign job responsibility to each Quality person based on responsibility assigned to him/her

● To train, evaluate and approve Qc persons for various roles – online checkers, dimension checkers, aql checkers, incoming and dispatch checkers.

● To ensure incoming checks are properly performed as per approved SOP for RM, PM and Deco items

● To ensure online inspection for attributes are done on ACTUAL basis by approved Online inspector

● To check variables are checked as per schedule and at actual by approved Dimension checker

● To ensure correct training on usage of quality equipment’s is given to QC dimension checkers

● To ensure that all customer STPs are in records and respective checkers have training on them.

● To ensure AQL is done in prescribed manner by AQL team

● To ensure no OOS or functional non conforming material is released to customer

● To arrange MRM on Quarterly basis, make action plan and ensure they are closed

● To handle Audits. To make NC reports and ensure the NCs are closed within scheduled timeframe.

● To ensure SOPs of Production and Maintenance are correct and updated accordingly.

● To ensure QC lab is adequately equipped with testing machines. They are handled well. Calibrations are done periodically.

● To ensure product-wise training is given to packers 1st time on that product by supervisors. If performance is not ok, re-training done

● To assist HR in GMP and Packing training

● To ensure production is being run with approved QC specs o Approved RM & MB o Approved CCP o Approved Packing configuration

● To ensure all DPUs are working correctly,



the data logged is downloaded everyday and checked by QC. Any errors should be corrected and if required retraining to specific packer

● To be part of Line Clearance and check Line Clearance Reports

● To be part of Current Lot No. issue and check Lot No. reports

● To manage change control

● To freeze specs in case of new products and give training to supervisors on new specs

● To upgrade supervisors to be managers and give training as required and records maintained. Make Need Based Training.

● To take training schedule for QC supervisors and ensure it is followed and record maintained correctly

● To handle Customer Complains and close them

● To ensure “Check and Pack” system is completely implemented

● To upgrade the QC system and functioning on year on year basis

● To maintain lot samples for atleast 3 months and ensure the sample area is well maintained.

● To be part of any recent trials and give report signed by QM

● To ensure specs are available for all Incoming and FG items

● To ensure FIFO followed

● To conduct audit of Production, Maintenance and warehouse

● To ensure proper stacking procedure for RM, PM, FG.

● To finalised and ensure fair appraisal of supervisors, inspectors, etc.

● To ensure proper factory Cleaning and records maintained.

● To ensure GMP and cleaning followed properly in the Production and records maintained.

● To explain Quality system to visitors

● To conduct IQ, OQ, PQ for all new machine installations

● To ensure Quarantine material is kept in separate area and is well marked

● Additional responsibility o Safety – First Aid Box, First Aiders, Annual Health Check-up o Pest Control o Display Boards o Fire Safety – Extinguishers, Locations of Extinguishers, Assembly Point, Fire exits, etc

Qualification : CIPET/BE/BTech – Polymers / Plastic

Experience : Min. 10+ Years

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
