We are looking for a Manual Quality Assurance (QA) Intern to develop and execute exploratory tests to ensure product quality.
Role & Responsibilities (Quality Assurance Intern)
- Assisting in reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical documents under guidance from senior team members.
- Supporting the creation of clear and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Helping plan, execute, and coordinate basic testing activities.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using standard bug-tracking tools.
- Performing basic regression testing after fixes are implemented.
- Assisting in testing new features and existing applications to ensure quality standards are met.
- Following defined testing processes and learning best QA practices.
- Staying updated with basic QA tools, testing techniques, and industry trends.
- Ability to clearly explain issues, steps to reproduce, and expected results
- Basic testing on Web and/or Mobile applications (Android/iOS)
- Awareness of different browsers and devices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Fresher to 6 months of experience (internship, academic projects, or training in QA accepted).
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts, QA methodologies, and processes.
- Ability to write clear and straightforward test cases and test scenarios.
- Familiarity with manual testing; basic exposure to black-box testing.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for simple queries is a plus.
- Awareness of Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Willingness to learn automation, performance, and security testing concepts.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent training)
- Basic knowledge of test management tools
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate
- Mohali, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
