About the Role

NIDO Automation is looking for a hands-on QA Engineer to verify software builds, validate deployments, and ensure reliable integration between applications, databases, PLCs, machines, dashboards, and peripherals in industrial automation environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform build verification, smoke, functional, and regression testing on Windows and Linux.

- Validate on-premise and offline deployments, dependencies, network connectivity, and firewall configurations.

- Test Docker containers, networking, volumes, and restart behaviour.

- Verify MongoDB/PostgreSQL connectivity, backup, and restore.

- Test PLC, OPC UA, TCP, HTTP, WebSocket, API, barcode, and label printer integrations.

- Troubleshoot application, system, and container logs to identify root causes.

- Maintain test cases, defect reports, release checklists, and troubleshooting documentation.

Required Skills





- 3–6 years of experience in QA, software testing, deployment, or DevOps-oriented roles.

- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking, and command-line troubleshooting.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and MongoDB.

- Scripting knowledge in at least two of Python, Bash, PowerShell, or JavaScript.

- Experience in manual and automated testing, defect tracking, and root-cause analysis.

Valuable to Have

- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, OPC UA, PLCs, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and API/UI automation tools.

- Experience with industrial automation, on-premise deployments, and customer-site commissioning.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
