Owners earn both idle pay for every hour a machine is listed and rental income when it is actively used, with flexible pricing options and fast payouts via bank transfer or cryptocurrency.

Listing a machine takes only a few minutes, with a streamlined process that includes sign-up, machine addition, and a quick test before going live. The Rackloom console provides transparent visibility into metered hours, daily settlement confirmations, and payouts down to the cent, offering a clear and trustworthy experience for users.

Role Description Rackloom is seeking a full-time, remote Python Developer to help build and maintain the core backend services that power our GPU marketplace platform. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize APIs and services that manage listings, metering, pricing, and payouts.

You will work closely with product and operations teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable code, and integrate with payment providers and third-party services. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, testable Python code, maintaining database schemas and queries, monitoring performance and reliability, and participating in code reviews and architecture discussions.



You will also help improve developer tooling, deployment pipelines, and documentation to support a fast-moving engineering environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development skills, including building RESTful APIs and integrating external services.
- Candidates should possess solid Software Development experience using Python, with a focus on writing maintainable, testable, and well-documented code.
- Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming concepts such as data structures and algorithms.
- Candidates should possess practical Databases skills, including designing schemas, writing efficient queries, and working with relational or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP), containerization (e.g., Docker), and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, performance optimization, or high-availability backend architectures is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, explicit written and verbal communication, and the capacity to work independently in a remote setting are required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred, but relevant experience and skills are highly valued.
